McLamb Tosses Shutout Against Montreal Wednesday, June 3rd , 2026 Barry McLamb was in a mood to talk following the Joilet Jesters contest against the Montreal Canadiens, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Canadiens, 8-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," McLamb said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again." The right-hander blanked Montreal on a 4-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 5 strikeouts. To date McLamb is 8-1 in 10 starts with a 2.62 ERA and has 61 strikeouts in 72 innings.
