Weeks Blisters Dillonvale Saturday, July 16th , 2022 Butch Weeks exploded for a barrage of base hits at Black Diamonds Ballpark. The Hickory second baseman had a field day in his team's 21-3 triumph over the Dillonvale Indians, finishing 5-for-7. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Weeks must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Butch Weeks hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and struck out in the 9th.
