McKibbins on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Saturday, July 2nd , 2022 The Spokane Selects topped the Dillonvale Indians by a score of 9-3 at Black Diamonds Ballpark, but all the talk was centered on left fielder Ian McKibbins. The Spokane star hit for the cycle in a show-stealing performance, powering his club to the win. McKibbins went 4-for-5, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to go along with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. "I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," McKibbins said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me - the ball seemed that big. And it just floated in." Ian McKibbins hit an RBI triple in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
