Montreal Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Sunday, August 22nd , 2021 It's back to the drawing board for the Montreal Canadiens. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Montreal last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 22-year history. |
