Hit Parade: Nash Pops 5 Hits
Wednesday, June 4th , 2025
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the New Rochelle's 11-1 win over Palm Springs, third baseman Kyle Nash was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Lexington.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Nash said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Kyle Nash singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Steve Sullivan in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th.
So far this season, Nash has gotten 31 hits in 91 at-bats for a .341 batting average with 11 home runs. His stats include 27 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has played in 25 games.
