Corrado Goes on Rampage Against Aces Friday, May 30th , 2025 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for William Corrado, it came around today. The 24-year-old catcher scattered hits all over Belmont Park to pace the 2-1 Hickory Crawdads victory over the Quebec Aces. Quebec skipper Elias Nunez told reporters in the press room that "Corrado deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Corrado hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." William Corrado doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and doubled in the 13th.
