Crawdads Pull Out Late-Game Win, 2-1
The Hickory Crawdads used the hitting of catcher William Corrado to subdue the Quebec Aces, 2-1, in 13 innings. For the game, Corrado went 5-6 with 3 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Adam Ryan earned the save for Hickory, his 5th of the year. The defeat makes Quebec 22-27.

Hickory used the timely hitting of Pete Kincaid to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Crawdads on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Kincaid. "But we got it done."
