Espinosa held Quebec hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Pilots to a 7-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Espinosa said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Espinosa rang up 8 strikeouts and issued no walks.
