Great Day for Maffei, Hits for Cycle Sunday, July 4th , 2021 Muskies third baseman Dave Maffei made big news in Glendale's 11-5 victory over the Nashville Lasers. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Maffei said later. Dave Maffei doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Eddie Arriaga in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
