Larson Skunks Randolph, 6-0 Sunday, June 13th , 2021 Beau Larson of the Walnut Park Bobcats was on top of his game. The 23-year-old tantalized the Randolph Prairie Thunder with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 6-0. "He had the changeup working," Randolph manager Michael Kelleher said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The Walnut Park hurler had 6 strikeouts, gave up 4 walks and surrendered 2 hits in his complete-game effort. Larson told reporters after the game that "keeping the ball down is the key to being successful in this league." "If you don't do that, they'll make you pay," he said.
