Pulido Socks It to Pilots, Cracks 5 Hits
Wednesday, June 2nd , 2021
Jeff Pulido of the Bobcats was unstoppable in his team's 12-5 victory over the Denver Pilots at Pilots Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Walnut Park shortstop after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Jeff Pulido singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This year, Pulido is hitting .214, produced 20 RBIs and 3 home runs, scored 13 times and gotten on base at a .254 rate.
