Z's Pull Out Late-Game Win, 3-2
In a low-scoring contest between the Ann Arbor Z's and the Spokane Selects, Jon Gunter was the X factor. The Ann Arbor right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The win belonged to Adam Bowman in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Mike Brown took the loss for Spokane. The win has Ann Arbor at 31-107.

The game-ending blow was delivered by B.B. Bugbee in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Brown to win it for Ann Arbor and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Gunter said.
