Late Rally by Pilots Secures 5-3 Win
The Quebec Aces got a sterling performance from pitcher J.D. Pirillo, but the Denver Pilots still prevailed, 5-3. Pirillo threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Denver reliever Dante Ramos picked up the win to move to 3-6. Donovan Mott suffered the loss. Dave Coe picked up the save for Denver, his 15th of the year.

Denver used the timely hitting of John Anderson to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pilots on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Said losing manager Elias Nunez: "We just didn't get it done tonight."

Denver bumps their record to 57-80 with the win.
