The Quebec Aces topped the Westwood Bruins, 4-3, in Stripes Conference action at Belmont Park. The standout performance belonged to Quebec pitcher and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, native Ryan Simpson. Today's win puts Quebec at 73-55, while Westwood falls to 68-60.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Quebec center fielder Rich Cloutier, facing Chris Dries, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Aces the 4-3 win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Cloutier.
