Parson Leads Bruins to Win
No one was more impactful than Steve Parson in the 8-2 Westwood win over New Rochelle. Parson, who is tied for 6th in the StC in bases on balls with 60, was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. By defeating New Rochelle, the third-place Bruins improved to 64-58.

With Westwood leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Parson hit a curveball from Fred Taylor for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Bruins ahead, 5-0.

Parson attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
