The Quebec Aces went home winners at Belmont Park, thanks in large part to starter Justin Hesley. Hesley stifled the Hickory Crawdads, enabling Quebec to grab the 3-1 win. The Aces saw their win-loss record go to 53-62. At the same time, the Crawdads fell to 70-45.

Roland Martin came through for Quebec with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. The second baseman was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and collected 1 run batted in.

"Justin made some good pitches in some situations he needed to make them in," said Quebec manager Elias Nunez.
