Quebec turned a good effort from starter Justin Hesley into a win over the Walnut Park Bobcats at Belmont Park. The final score was 4-2. Hesley, the winner, moves to 8-5. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks. The save was credited to Brian Prince, his 8th.

Roland Martin had a big 2-run home run for the Aces in the bottom of the third inning. With Quebec leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Brad Porretta, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2021 draft, and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Aces on top, 4-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Martin told the Quebec Observer.
