The Pueblo Heroes routed the London Werewolves, 11-3, at Heroes Ballpark. Carlos Quintana, who is tied for 4th in the S-A in RBI with 93, was one of the hitting stars. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for Pueblo. Gary Day earned the save, his 1st. The second-place Heroes now have a record of 94-44.

With Pueblo leading 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Quintana hit a fastball from Albert Garcia for a 3-run home run. It was his 27th home run of the season and put the Heroes ahead, 8-2.

Quintana told a Pueblo Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
