Werewolves Take Home 4-3 Win Over Mexico City
|
The London Werewolves scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Mexico City Aztecs at Tony Gwynn Stadium. London pitcher Frank Rivera held his own in the contest. The winner was Rivera. He threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Mike Pistorio. After today's action, London sits at 70-60, while Mexico City falls to 87-43.
Greg Ray, who is tied for 4th in the S-A in bases on balls with 60, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ray contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put London up, 4-0.
