Bats Fail for Tropics in 3-1 Loss
The Nashua Sweepers got great pitching from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Sean Conant, allowing them to bump off the White Deer Tropics, 3-1. Andrew Rogers finished to wrap up his 6th save. The Sweepers move to 61-57 with the win, while the Tropics drop to 55-63.

Conant dominated for Nashua, raising his record to 3-6. White Deer hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 7.

"Sean was pounding the zone," said Nashua manager Tony Allen.
