The Quebec Aces beat the Denver Pilots, 6-5, at Pilots Ballpark. Eric Barrett, in particular, was impressive. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Picking up his 3rd save was 28-year old right-handed pitcher Casey Danis. Quebec is now 48-57, Denver 43-62.

Josh Meeker went 1 for 4 for Quebec. The 27-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Joe Love. It was his 37th RBI of the season.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Meeker.
