Quebec got a terrific game from right fielder Juan Garza. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Westwood, 4-3. Garza was 2-3 with 2 home runs. Brad Antol got the save, his 19th in 20 chances. The Bruins have now won 4 straight.

Armando Gomez came through with a big-time hit for Westwood. The left fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Quebec manager Jeff Gray.
