The Quebec Aces used the hitting of right fielder Eric Barrett to subdue the Denver Pilots, 5-4. For the game, Barrett went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Rich Hepler in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Dave Barncord took the loss. Brian Prince collected his 7th save.

Quebec used a well-timed hit by Cameron Williams to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Aces ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
