Riffe Delivers Walk-Off Win for Tropics
The White Deer Tropics sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

The White Deer Tropics faced a tough opponent in Kalamazoo pitcher Pat Potter, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of White Deer by a final score of 7-6 in 14 innings. Potter went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Dustin Mitchell earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 5-0.

The Tropics got a clutch hit from third baseman Ben Riffe. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Tropics.

"We earned that one," said Riffe.

The 4th-place Tropics have won 4 in a row.
