Heroes Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the White Deer Tropics and Pueblo Heroes.

White Deer beat Pueblo at Heroes Ballpark, escaping with a 4-3 win. The win in large part was due to right fielder Kyle Himes. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Picking up the save was 19-year old right-handed pitcher David Cooper.

Himes had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-2 fastball from Dallas Price, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Tropics a 4-2 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Himes.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Pueblo manager Jeremiah Simpson.

The defeat makes Pueblo 58-52.
