Benitez Launches 2 Dingers, But Mexico City Wins
Though he had a stellar game, Max Benitez could not prevent his team, the Dollywood Partons, from losing, 9-5, to the Mexico City Aztecs. Benitez was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The winning pitcher was Dustin Engstrom. He's now 6-3. He went 5 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits for the Aztecs. The win puts the Aztecs at 74-31, while the Partons drop to 79-26.

Justin McCoy, who is tied for 8th in the S-A in RBI with 72, had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Mexico City left fielder hit a 2-run single. That put the Aztecs in front, 5-4.
