The Nashua Sweepers picked up a win at Werewolves Ballpark, knocking off the London Werewolves, 3-2. Starting pitcher Logan Gustin was a big reason why. Gustin got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. Mark Williams recorded the save, his 8th.
Jose Corona had a direct impact on the outcome. Corona contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Nashua up, 3-1.
