White Deer Tropics right-hander Dave Crumpacker pitched a good game against the Dollywood Partons at Dolly Parton Ballpark, leading his team to victory, 5-3. The win went to Dustin Mitchell in relief, making him now 4-0. Gregg Daugherty took the loss for Dollywood. The Tropics, at 45-56, sit in 4th place in the Southern A West Division.

White Deer took advantage of an error in the top of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Alex Guerrero hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Tropics in front, 5-3.

"Credit where credit is due," said Guerrero, "this was a team win."
