Behind the hitting of Tim Cook, the Lake Elsinore Storm stopped the Poplar Bluff Hillbillies, 8-6, in 10 innings. Cook was 2 for 6 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Storm. With the win, the Storm improved to 32-66.
