Yarbrough Powers Keys to 8-6 Win
The Long Beach Keys downed the White Deer Tropics, 8-6, at Ballpark of White Deer. John Yarbrough led the way, going 4-for-5 for Long Beach. Ricardo Orozco got credit for the win, improving to 2-7. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 6.1 innings. With the win, the Long Beach record is 14-83.

With Long Beach leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Yarbrough hit a fastball from Steve Greene for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Keys ahead, 5-0.
