Ann Arbor Z's starter Jon Gunter turned in an exceptional performance against the Quebec Aces at Belmont Park, resulting in a Ann Arbor win, 5-2. Chris Runte collected save number 18. The Z's now own a record of 35-60.

The Z's got a big at-bat from third baseman Jerry Tully. For the game, Tully went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Ann Arbor a 2-0 lead.
