Losing Trend Continues for Dillonvale
|
Fremont pitcher Cameron Outlaw did his part in helping his team defeat the Dillonvale Indians, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. The winning pitcher was Outlaw, now 6-2. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. Ryan Arntz closed the game out for Fremont, earning his 3rd save.
Willie Galvez had a big 2-run home run for the Marshalls in the top of the fourth inning. With Fremont trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Jim Unknown and swatted a home run to left. It was his 11th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marshalls ahead, 2-1.
"Obviously," said Dillonvale manager Armando Cisneros, "we've hit the skids."
The losses continue to pile up for Dillonvale, which has now fallen 11 times in a row.
