Thanks in large part to left fielder Josh Wachter, the Dillonvale Indians beat the Quebec Aces, 8-5. Wachter went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winner was Stephen Keene in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Josh Bass took the loss. Dillonvale, with the win, climbs to 26-62.
Dillonvale used a timely hit from Paul Morgan to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Indians ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
"We came out aggressive," said Indians manager Markus Mensink. "We came out swinging the bats."
