Aces left fielder Dave Poth left his imprint on his team's 6-4 win over the Ann Arbor Z's. Poth was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times for Quebec in the contest. Quebec occupies 4th place in the Stripes Conference East Division at 45-35.

There were several reasons the Aces beat the Z's, but one factor was Brian Gates. In the top of the second, the Quebec center fielder came to bat and hit a 2-run single. It staked his team to a 2-0 lead.
