Downward Spiral Continues for Quebec
The Westwood Bruins topped the Quebec Aces, 6-5, with youngster Joel Patrick playing a key role. Patrick was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bruins in the win. The save went to Lorenzo Landin, his 5th this season. Quebec is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 9 games.

With Westwood leading 3-0 in the top of the fifth, Patrick hit a changeup from Brent Stedronsky for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Bruins ahead, 6-0.

"No one likes losing," said Quebec manager Elias Nunez. "We've hit a tough patch, but we're going to get through it."
