Prairie Thunder Fall to Marshalls, 6-1
|
Randolph had no answer for Fremont Marshalls starter Donnie Marcus, who flummoxed Prairie Thunder hitters as the Marshalls cruised to victory, 6-1. At 35-28, the Marshalls find themselves in third place in the Stripes Conference East Division.
Mitch Jarka had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for Fremont. He came through with a run-scoring triple to put Fremont in front, 2-0.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Marshalls manager Tyrone Hairston, "I like our chances."
