The Orono Oaks beat the Randolph Prairie Thunder, 5-0, at Prairie Thunder Ballpark. Starting pitcher Colin Esser was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The Prairie Thunder, now 31-32, have lost 7 straight.

Kyle Parker had a big 2-run home run for the Oaks in the top of the second inning. With Orono leading 1-0 and a runner on 3rd, he got a changeup from Ray Barone and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Oaks ahead, 3-0.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Parker.
