The Lake Elsinore Storm beat the White Deer Tropics, 6-2, at Dust Devils Ballpark. The Storm got a fine performance from left fielder Chris Thygerson, who went 2-4 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Derrick Lambert picked up the save, his 1st. The triumph makes Lake Elsinore 30-60.

Lake Elsinore took a 6-2 lead on Thygerson's 4th triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which he hit off Mike Price in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Lake Elsinore to the win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Thygerson told the Lake Elsinore Times.
