Tropics Deal Werewolves 5-1 Loss

At Werewolves Ballpark, the London Werewolves and White Deer Tropics were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The White Deer Tropics beat the London Werewolves, 5-1. White Deer pitcher and Columbus, Georgia, native Steve Greene led the way. In 6 innings, Greene surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Dustin Mitchell closed it out for his 5th save.
John Pavao drove in one run for White Deer. The 24-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Greg Forness. It was his 18th RBI of the season.
"It was just a matter of executing," said White Deer manager Brendan Rees.
After today's action, White Deer sits at 39-49, while London falls to 48-40.
