Werewolves Rally to Eke Out Win
The London Werewolves faced a tenacious opponent in White Deer pitcher Josh Fields, but still scratched out a win at Werewolves Ballpark by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Fields went 9 innings and allowed 1 run. Ben Foster earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-4. The triumph puts London at 48-39 for the season.

Matt Anderson played the role of hero for London. In the bottom of the tenth, he launched a 2-run home run off Marco Canas to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said White Deer manager Brendan Rees. "The effort was great."
