The home crowd had a good time watching the London Werewolves and Kalamazoo Comets get after it.

The Kalamazoo Comets downed the London Werewolves, 7-5. The hitting star was pinch hitter Julio Rodriguez. Rodriguez went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Comets. Craig Walker recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 4 for 4.

Kalamazoo took a 6-5 lead on Rodriguez's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Juan Ramirez in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Kalamazoo to the win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Kalamazoo manager Sam Furfari.

With the win, the Comets are 25-59.
