The White Deer Tropics topped the London Werewolves, 4-3, in Southern A action at Werewolves Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to White Deer pitcher and Scottsdale, Arizona, native Marco Canas. Carlos Calderon sewed up the save, his 2nd. White Deer is now 40-42. London is 47-35.

White Deer used a well-timed hit by Mike Sisson to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Tropics ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Sisson told a White Deer Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
