Led by Justin McCoy, the Mexico City Aztecs downed the Atlanta Aggies, 7-4. McCoy belted 3 home runs for the Aztecs. Earning his 15th save of the year was Ken Griffey. The Aztecs have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

In the top of the 4th, Mexico City took the lead on a 2-run home run by Jonathan Lewis. At the time, the Aztecs were trailing 2-1, but Lewis's hit with two outs against Atlanta pitcher Joe Turner put them in front, 3-2.
