The White Deer Tropics beat the Dollywood Partons, 5-2. White Deer pitcher and Winston-Salem, North Carolina, native Nate Roberson led the way. Alex Balladares closed the game out for White Deer, earning his 1st save.

Ben Parks helped out the White Deer cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman was 1-3.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Roberson told the White Deer Gazette.

The 4th-place Tropics have a record of 31-36.
