Aztecs Squelch Werewolves Offense in Shutout Win
The London Werewolves had to reckon with Mexico City Aztecs hurler Miguel Rodriguez. Rodriguez, who is tied for 3rd in the S-A with a 9.6 K/9 rate, overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-0 Aztecs triumph. Mel Mercado earned the save for Mexico City. Mexico City is first in the Southern A West Division with a record of 44-21.

There were several reasons the Aztecs beat the Werewolves, but one factor was Pablo Patlan. In the bottom of the third, the Mexico City second baseman came to bat and hit a run-scoring single. It staked his team to a 1-0 lead.

"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Patlan.
