Tropics Suffer 4-2 Road Loss
|
The White Deer Tropics got a superb performance from catcher George Rosenfeld, but the Long Beach Keys still won the game, 4-2. Rosenfeld was 3-4 with 2 home runs. The victory puts Long Beach at 8-55.
The Keys got a big at-bat from left fielder Dan Chambers. For the game, Chambers was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Long Beach a 2-0 lead.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Chambers said.
