The London Werewolves topped the Mexico City Aztecs, 9-5, in Southern A action at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of London pitcher Chris Rumrill. The triumph puts London at 42-19 for the season.

London used the timely hitting of David Cabrera to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Werewolves on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We played hard and won," said Rumrill. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
