Andy Strong was superb against London. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the S-A in strikeouts with 64, had a sinker that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Admirals victory. The score was 3-2. The Admirals, at 34-20, sit in second place in the Southern A West Division.

Strong, who was born in Altadena, California, threw 103 pitches over 6.2 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Andy attacked hitters and trusted his stuff," said Barrie manager Manny Uset.
