Pitching was the name of the game for the London Werewolves and the Kalamazoo Comets. London won it, 2-0, in 11 innings. London starter Carl Bennett was in command. With the win, the Werewolves improved to 29-23.

London got a game-changing hit from Jimmy Kronenberger. The right fielder blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"We have a lot of confidence in Carl," said London manager Steve Warzecha.
