A good performance from left fielder Steve Combee helped the Mexico City Aztecs defeat the Nashua Sweepers, 13-6. Combee belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Aztecs. Josh DeYoe picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-0. Mike Overstreet, who is tied for 4th in the S-A in quality starts with 4, was tagged with the loss. The win elevated the Aztecs to 33-12.

Cameron Kovatch had a big grand slam home run for the Aztecs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Mexico City trailing 4-3 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from Mike Overstreet, who is tied for 4th in the S-A in quality starts with 4, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Aztecs on top, 7-4.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Kovatch told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
