Lumberjacks Send White Deer Home with 2-1 Loss
In a low-scoring contest between the Bangor Lumberjacks and the White Deer Tropics, Carlos Loera was the X factor. The Bangor right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Bangor is now 20-21, while White Deer is 20-21.

Guy Dewey had a direct impact on the outcome. Dewey contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Bangor up, 2-0.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Bangor manager Shawn Banks said.
