Dustin Engstrom brought his A-game to help Mexico City defeat the Atlanta Aggies, 7-1. The winner was Engstrom. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Joe Turner. After today's action, Mexico City sits at 26-10; Atlanta slips to 14-22.

The Aztecs got an important contribution from first baseman Arturo Guevara, who in the bottom of the fourth knocked a first pitch fastball to right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Aztecs ahead, 5-0.

"Dustin had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Mexico City manager Tony Velez.
