The 7-4 Dollywood win over London was due largely to Tyler Talton. The Partons center fielder went 3 for 5 with 3 triples, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The winner was Ivan Torres in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Carl Bennett took the loss. The save was credited to Justin Tillman, his 1st.

Tied up with the Werewolves in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Partons got a boost from third baseman Matt Dean. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Dean saw a 2-1 fastball from Carl Bennett and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Dollywood on top, 5-4.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Talton.

The hot start continues for the defending champion Partons. This was their 10th win in 12 games.
